EXPAND YOUR HUMAN POTENTIAL

New meditation program my Kirby de Lanerolle

The Impactful Experience:

Longevity , Gray matter &
Neuroplasticity

This program will take the participants through four types of meditation. Each one has its own unique applications and results. Empirical data will be cited, providing insight into brain structure and the mechanics of each state of mind, as well as the effects of different types of meditation on longevity, immunity, gray matter, and plasticity to expand human potential.

THE SESSIONS

Introduction to Pinwheel Technique:

We will delve into the Pinwheel technique as a method of sensory gating or filtering, enabling greater focus, intention, and the strategic use of intention. (Weaponizing intention)

Practical Workshop:

Participants will be guided through a Pinwheel meditation, learning how to channel their focus, filter sensory information, and decrease sensory overload. This meditation strengthens the "will" and enables participants to harness energy, priming the nervous system for defense, attack, or buffering.

Discussion:

We will examine the neuroscience behind the Pinwheel technique, understanding how it enhances the brain's ability to filter sensory information, reduces distractibility, and cultivates a more focused mind by involving the prefrontal cortex and the anterior cingulate cortex.

Homework:

Incorporate daily 20-minute Pinwheel meditation sessions into your routine.

01 COMPASSION MEDITATION FOR LONGEVITY

Introduction to Compassion Meditation

We delve into the science of compassion (Metta) meditation, how it enhances positive emotions, leading to personal resources, better health, and increased longevity.

Practical Workshop

Participants are led through a compassion meditation, cultivating feelings of goodwill and compassion towards self and others.

Discussion:

We unpack research linking compassion meditation to physical health benefits, focusing on how it influences the vagus nerve, heart rate variability, telomere length, and the immune system.

Homework:

Incorporate a daily 20 -minute Loving-Kindness meditation into your routine.

02 STRESS REDUCTION AND MEDITATION

Introduction to the Science of Meditation:

We begin by exploring the scientific underpinnings of mindfulness meditation, discussing how it physically alters the brain's structure, specifically areas related to attention and emotion regulation.

Practical Workshop:

Participants are guided through basic meditation practices, focusing on breath and body sensations, leading to a state of non-judgmental awareness of the present moment.

Discussion:

We examine scientific research linking regular meditation practice to reduced stress, with a focus on understanding the associated neuroplastic changes such as an increase in grey matter in the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus, and a decrease in the amygdala's size.

Homework:

Engage in a daily 20 -minute mindfulness meditation.

03 BREAKING SELF-REFERENCING & DECENTERING WITH TOHU WA-BOHU

Introduction to Tohu Wa-Bohu:

This session will introduce the Hebraic concept of Tohu Wa-Bohu (formlessness and emptiness), which can be applied in meditation to break self-referencing thought patterns, supporting the meditation through reverse breathing and the microcosmic orbit technique for decentering and perspective shifting.

Practical Workshop:

During the guided meditation on Tohu Wa-Bohu, we will focus on experiencing emptiness and formlessness, aiming to break the cycle of self-referencing thoughts.

Discussion:

We will explore neuroscience research regarding the 'Default Mode Network' and its association with self-referencing thoughts. Additionally, we'll investigate how Tohu Wah-Bohu meditation can help quiet this network, leading to an experience of 'selflessness.' The breathing techniques will activate the insula and shift focus away from the prefrontal cortex, allowing participants to realize a “bottom-up” approach in contrast to a “top-down” one.

Homework:

Practice Tohu Wa-Bohu meditation for 20 minutes daily.

04 PINWHEEL TECHNIQUE FOR SENSORY INFORMATION FILTERING

IS THIS PROGRAM FOR ME?

"This program is specially designed for individuals with limited time for meditation, whether you're a busy professional or a stay-at-home mom. Despite the time constraints, meditation offers profound neurological benefits, such as increasing grey matter, improving neuroplasticity, and reducing the risk of neurodegenerative diseases. In the fast-paced 21st century, meditation has become an essential tool for enhancing overall well-being. With this program, you can reap the neurological advantages of meditation without the need for lengthy and intense sessions, making it accessible to everyone."

Already registered for “The Field” event this September in Marshall Texas, USA? Then you are eligible for a US$ 50.00 discount. Use the coupon code you have received at checkout. Terms and conditions apply.

Each session will include Q&A sections, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of the concepts and techniques presented. Emphasizing consistency is crucial, as the benefits of meditation become more pronounced with regular practice. Moreover, participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and challenges, fostering a supportive community of practice.

At the end of the program, participants will have a diverse set of meditative tools at their disposal and an understanding of how these practices can lead to tangible changes in their brain and overall well-being.
